Right at Home Careers
Right at Home Cardiff & Newport
'I am very proud of being the first Right at Home provider of care to the seniors in the Welsh Principality. I was born in Cardiff and have lived here all my life, so it gives me a feeling of great pride that I can now offer a service to the community that has helped look after me.
Prior to opening this company, I was a serving police officer for 6 years, wearing out shoe leather in Cardiff. On my “off duty” days, I spent many hours supporting my elderly grandparents in a multitude of areas. These include practical tasks such as gardening and cooking, but also engaging in long fascinating conversations with my grandma about the ‘good old days’.
I knew should they want care in their own homes, later on in life where family or loved ones were not able to help, then I would want them to have the quality of care that they deserve.
I came to realise that by opening Right at Home in Cardiff and Newport I would be able to offer this quality care, and also ensure that other seniors or vulnerable adults looking for similar quality services could rely on me and my company.'

Family Fun Day
Right at Home Cardiff and Newport raised a whopping £580 for Luca. A little boy from Bassaleg that was struck down at the age of 3 with Meningococcal Septicaemia in January 2012 and his life changed forever. This horrendous disease ravaged every part of his body in hours leaving him fighting for his life. With less that 3% chance of survival Luca pulled through, however he was not unscathed.
Luca lost both of his legs and huge amounts of tissue, muscle and skin. They have battled to save his knees to give him the best chance to use a wide range of prosthetics. Many that are not available on the NHS.
Right at Home organised a Sunday Family Fun Day, held at The Masons Amrs where a variety of activities took place, such as face painting, games, tombola, BBQ and much more.
As a result of this event, the money raised by Right at Home will contribute to Luca being able to live his life to the fullest!
Well Done Team!
